Company History,

In the year 1988 Vegaflor began to grow roses with only 6 hectares of production in the San Pablo del Lago Area (Otavalo), in the northern province of Imbabura, just 95km north of Quito.

In keeping with our mission, we have obtained international certificates that validate our commitment to the quality of our products and with respect for the environment and our human resources

Our process are certified since 2005 with the Quality Standard ISO 9001-2000. We have implemented a quality management system covering all our processes to ensure that all activities of our crops, harvesting, post-harvest, sales and transportation, adopt strict standards and controls requirements and product quality, for the sole purpose of exceeding its expectations and increasing their satisfaction towards our products

Aware of the need to generate a product which respects the environment and people, in 2007 got 3 socio-environmental certifications:
- FLP (Flower Label Program)
- EurepGAP (Good Agriculture Practices)
- Flor Ecuador
These certify that we make our farms in good agricultural practices in harmony with the environment, promoting conservation, and that our employees enjoy an excellent working environment with respect to persons and significant employment benefits
